I stumbled on your blog. It caught my attention because I keep saying only half jokingly that an RV will be my retirement home. I love the idea of living so simply/compactly and see more of the world. Did you do much RV living before this trip? What's the best and worst of it?

our rv experience before this trip: zero
the idea came about something like this:

midnight a few months ago:
johnny "I hate my job and i'm stressed to the max"
tara "what do you want to do about it"
johnny "let's sell everything we own, buy an rv and travel the country promoting our fitness company"
tara "when should i pack??"

the best things are we live in an amazing beautiful country with endless things to see and do
and we've grown closer together as a family
we have reduced our expenses and materialistic tendencies
when we get bored we pack up and leave
the worst things are when shit breaks
plus four people and a dog in an enclosed space with one toilet gets gross!
other than that we love it!
