giving thanks

If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough.
-Meister Eckhart

fairy tales....

i had never heard of this place before, but i am so glad i read about it in a brochure. really gorgeous and amazing.
the hearst castle:
just an average ceiling in the castle....

indoor swimming pool. one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. 10 feet deep with a shallow section around the corner and a diving platform

dinner anyone??

san francisco

golden gate bridge

one thing johnny and i have figured out on this trip...we don't like cities. at all. crowded, overpriced, dirty, confusing and frustrating. it seems every time we get into the city, we are ready to leave. we can stand it just long enough to see the sights and then hit the road. :-) having said that, there are a few things worth the trouble. san francisco was cool. and not nearly as "alternative" as i was expecting.

the streets of san francisco

i swear he didn't know i was taking this pic. natural born poser, lol.

city of angels

well so far the only thing i can say about LA is the traffic sucks. we should be settled at a park soon. my mood should improve then. staying near marina del rey. it's dark now. hoping we wake up to a beautiful view.
san fran was cool. pics soon.
also stayed over a night in san luis obispo. the hearst castle in san simeon is incredible!!
no clue what we are doing to celebrate thanksgiving. i guess we'll see what LA has to offer.
